超导量子比特链上抗噪声的边缘模式

摘要

量子系统固有的对称性可保护其原本脆弱的态。利用此类保护需检验其针对不受控环境相互作用的鲁棒性。我们利用 47 个超导量子比特实现了一维受驱 Ising 模型,该模型展现出具有 Z2\mathbb{Z}_2 宇称对称性的非局域 Majorana 边缘模式(MEMs)。值得注意的是,我们发现任何与 MEMs 重叠的多量子比特 Pauli 算符均呈现均匀的后期衰减率,可与单量子比特弛豫率相比,且与其规模或构成无关。该特性使我们能精确重构 MEMs 的指数局域空间分布。此外,由于预热化机制,MEMs 对某些破缺对称性的噪声表现出韧性。我们的工作阐明了固态环境中噪声与对称性保护边缘模式之间的复杂相互作用。
