摘要
詹姆斯·韦伯空间望远镜的近红外相机自 1990 年代 JWST 被提出以来，一直提供着天文学家所期望的影像。在从发射后直至 2022 年 7 月初的调试期间，NIRCam 接受了一系列性能测试与运行检查。该相机在几乎所有方面都超出了发射前的预期，飞行中极少出现意外。NIRCam 还提供了波前传感团队用于对齐望远镜镜段所需的影像（\citealt{Acton_etal2022}, \citealt{McElwain_etal2022}）。
