受阻挫反铁磁体Gd2Ti2O7中部分磁有序的本质

摘要
部分有序磁体不同于自旋液体和常规有序磁体,因为有序与无序共存于同一磁相中。在此,我们确定了典型受阻挫烧绿石反铁磁体GdTiO中部分有序的本质。利用外加磁场下的单晶中子衍射测量、磁对称性分析、非弹性中子散射测量以及自旋波建模,我们表明其低温磁结构涉及两个传播矢量(2-结构),具有受抑制的有序磁矩和增强的自旋波涨落。我们的实验结果支持关于GdTiO中热涨落驱动有序的理论预言。
