Er2Ti2O7: 被动力学在受阻碍无序磁体中的证据

摘要

Er_2Ti_2O_7 被认为是受阻碍的 <111> XY pyrochlore 格点无序磁体,其理论预测在高度退化基态流形中会发生涨落诱导的对称性破缺。我们对经典模型进行理论分析,并将其与中子散射实验于 T_N = 1.173(2) K 以下及以上进行比较。该模型正确预测了有序磁结构,表明实际系统通过零点量子涨落稳定了有序,可由经典自旋波理论建模。然而,该模型未能描述体系的激发,这些激发显示出异常特征。
