摘要
我们展示了利用 FERMI 自由电子激光的定制加速器构型在纳米尺度上产生瞬态偏振光栅。我们通过将此类瞬态偏振光栅所诱导的动力学与在铁磁合金薄膜上由更常规的强度光栅所触发的动力学进行比较,展示了该瞬态偏振光栅的能力。强度光栅的信号由系统的热弹性响应主导,而这一贡献在偏振光栅情形下被抑制。这暴露出迄今为止隐藏于巨大热驱动响应之下的依赖于螺旋性的磁化动力学。我们预期纳米尺度瞬态偏振光栅将有益于研究任何具有手性对称性的物理、化学与生物系统。
