Mrk 421在2015–2016年历史低X射线与$\gamma$射线活动期间的多波段变率与相关性研究

摘要

我们报道利用Metsähovi、Swift、Fermi-LAT、MAGIC、FACT及其他合作与仪器自2014年11月至2016年6月的数据,对近邻(z=0.031)耀变体Markarian 421(Mrk 421)的多波段流量变率与相关性刻画。Mrk 421未显现显著耀发活动,但在高于1 TeV(F>1TeV<_{>1\mathrm{TeV}}< 1.7×\times1012^{-12} ph cm2^{-2} s1^{-1})与2–10 keV(X射线)波段(F210keV<_{2-10 \mathrm{keV}}<3.6×\times1011^{-11} erg cm2^{-2} s1^{-1})表现出历史低活动期,期间Swift-BAT数据提示存在超出常规同步辐射的额外谱成分。最高流量变率出现在X射线与甚高能(E>>0.1 TeV)γ\gamma射线中,二者虽处低活动期仍显示无时滞的显著正相关。HRkeV_\mathrm{keV}与HRTeV_\mathrm{TeV}呈现许多耀变体观测到的亮则更硬趋势,但该趋势在最高流量处变平,暗示主导耀变体变率的过程发生变化。以2007至2014年数据扩充数据集后,我们测得在零时滞为中心约60天范围内光学与GeV辐射的正相关,以及光学/GeV与射电辐射在436+9^{+9}_{-6}天为中心约60天范围内的正相关。该观测与射电亮区位于喷流光学/GeV辐射区下游约0.2秒差距一致。多数被探测能段的流量分布更宜用对数正态函数描述,表明Mrk 421变率可能由乘性过程产生。
