我们使用后牛顿-仿射模型来评估绝热近似在模拟致密双星系统相位演化中潮汐效应时的有效性。我们计算了潮汐张量（我们在2PN阶进行估算）和四极矩张量的动力学演化，发现它们的比值，即潮汐形变率，在旋近的最后阶段会增加。我们推导了由于这一现象引起的引力波相位修正，并量化了它们对引力波可探测性的影响。
