利用飞行时间谱学测量自旋波能带的色散关系

摘要
我们开发了一种通用的全电感方法,用于测量磁性薄条中自旋波的能带结构。与现有技术不同,我们的方法即使在同一研究频率区间内共存多条自旋波支也能工作,前提是这些支具有足够不同的群速度。我们首先测量由与磁性薄膜自旋波浴电感耦合的远距离天线所组成网络的微波散射矩阵。在数学变换到时域以获得传输冲激响应后,不同的自旋波支被视为波包,在经过不同传播时间后依次到达接收天线。类比于飞行时间谱学,随后通过时间门控分离这些波包。时间门控响应被用于重新计算每条自旋波支对频域散射矩阵的贡献。每条支的色散关系源自时间门控传输参数的绝对相位。若结合多个传播距离的结果,自旋波波矢可被明确确定,从而得到色散关系。
