顶夸克与反顶夸克质量差的测量

摘要
利用末态包含一个缪子或一个电子以及至少四个喷注的事例，对顶夸克与反顶夸克之间的质量差（Delta m(t) = m(t) - m(anti-t)）进行了测量。该分析基于 LHC 上 CMS 实验收集的数据，对应的积分亮度为 4.96 +/- 0.11 inverse femtobarns，得到的结果为 Delta m(t) = -0.44 +/- 0.46 (stat) +/- 0.27 (syst) GeV。该结果与 CPT 不变性所要求的粒子与反粒子质量相等一致，并且相较于现有测量显著提高了精度。
