顶夸克和反顶夸克质量差的直接测量

摘要
我们报告了在费米实验室 Tevatron 对撞机上，利用 D0 探测器在 sqrt(s)=1.96 TeV 的 ppbar 碰撞中收集的 1 fb-1 数据中，对 ttbar 事件轻子+喷注末态中 t 和 tbar 夸克质量差的测量结果。观测到的质量差为 3.8+-3.7 GeV，与 t 和 tbar 质量相等一致。这是首次直接测量夸克与其反夸克伙伴之间的质量差。
