利用 IceCube 测量大气 $\nu_e$ 能谱

摘要

我们利用完整 IceCube 探测器第一年的数据, presented 了能量在 0.1 TeV 到 100 TeV 之间的大气 νe\nu_e 能谱测量结果。大气 νe\nu_e 主要来源于宇宙射线空气簇射中产生的 kaon 衰变。该分析在 332 天的有效运行时间内选择了 1078 个完全包含的事件,并识别出那些与粒子簇射一致的事件。通过改进事件选择的似然分析,我们将之前对常规 νe\nu_e 通量的测量扩展到了更高能量。数据限制常规 νe\nu_e 通量为 Honda 计算基线预测的 1.30.3+0.41.3^{+0.4}_{-0.3} 倍,其中包括宇宙射线能谱的膝区。对 neutrino 通量中 kaon 贡献 (ξ\xi) 的拟合发现,kaon 分量是基线值的 ξ=1.30.4+0.5\xi =1.3^{+0.5}_{-0.4} 倍。拟合/测量的来自粲强子衰变的瞬发中微子通量强烈依赖于假设的天体物理通量和形状。如果天体物理分量遵循幂律,则瞬发通量的结果为基于 Enberg、Reno 和 Sarcevic 工作计算的通量的 0.00.0+3.00.0^{+3.0}_{-0.0} 倍。
