摘要
我们扩展了 HiRes 用于研究候选天体物理源目录与超高能宇宙射线（UHECRs）之间交叉相关的最大似然法，以容纳不同的源光度。我们的方法允许根据各个源发射相关 UHECRs 的可能性对其进行排序。我们通过模拟针对各种情景测试了旧方法和新方法。我们得出结论：HiRes UHECRs 与已知 BLLacs 之间存在 9 个真实相关性，此类相关性由偶然产生的概率为 6*10^-5。
