摘要
我们研究了一种新方法——最大方差缩减——用于减少夸克传播子随机估计量的方差。我们发现，虽然该方法对于轻-轻介子与通常的迭代求逆相当，但对于包含至少一个无穷重夸克的系统，则实现了显著的改进。这类系统是重夸克有效理论所需要的。作为该方法有效性的说明，我们给出了介子和重子基态和激发态质量的结果。我们将这些结果与涉及夸克的实验谱进行了比较。
