传记数据库包含关于个人的多样化信息。人名、出生信息、职业生涯、朋友、家庭和特殊成就是个人记录中一些可能的条目。个体之间的关系，如亲属关系和友谊，提供了关于数据库中未直接记录的隐藏社区的宝贵见解。我们展示了一些简单的基于矩阵和图的操作对于推断个体间关系是有效的，并以中国历代人物传记数据库（CBDB）为例说明了主要思想。
