摘要
Born-Infeld 理论是麦克斯韦电动力学的非线性推广。它自然地作为开弦的低能有效作用量出现，同时也是 D-膜世界体积有效作用量的一部分。Born-Infeld 作用的 N=1 和 N=2 超对称推广与刚性扩展超对称的部分自发破缺密切相关。我们回顾了 Born-Infeld 作用的一些显著特征，并概述了其在四维中的超对称推广。Born-Infeld 理论的非阿贝尔 N=1 超对称扩展及其 N=1 超引力形式也在超空间中给出。
