$S_{\mathrm{eff}}$ = 1/2 三角晶格化合物 NdCd$_3$P$_3$ 中的磁有序

摘要
我们介绍并表征了 CdP（= 稀土）材料家族的新成员 NdCdP，其具有排列在彼此分离良好的三角晶格层上的 Nd 阳离子。磁化率与热容测量表明其可能存在 = 1/2 的基态，并揭示了在 K 处形成长程反铁磁有序。通过磁化、热容与电阻率的测量，我们表征了 NdCdP 的电子性质，并将结果与密度泛函理论计算进行比较。
