利用 SLIM 实验寻找磁单极子

摘要
SLIM 实验是一个由 427 m^2 核径迹探测器组成的阵列，在高山实验室（玻利维亚查卡尔塔亚，海拔 5230 m）暴露了约 4.22 年。SLIM 对质量在 10^5 到 10^12 GeV 范围内的下行中等质量磁单极子敏感。对整个探测器的分析给出了下行快速中等质量磁单极子的通量上限为 1.3x10^{-15} 1/(cm^2*s*sr)（90% 置信水平）。
