${}^{138}$Ba$^+$ $6s\;{}^2S_{1/2}-5d\;{}^2D_{5/2}$钟跃迁的魔术波长

摘要

138{}^{138}Ba+^+S1/2D5/2S_{1/2}-D_{5/2}钟跃迁的动态差分标量极化率的过零点已被确定为459.1614(28)459.1614(28)\,THz。结合先前确定的矩阵元和分支比,这在较大波长范围(700\gtrsim 700\,nm)内严格约束了该钟跃迁的动态差分标量极化率。特别是,它允许估计该钟跃迁在室温下的黑体辐射频移。
