魔法态蒸馏:并非如你所想般昂贵

摘要
尽管自首次提出以来开销已大幅降低,魔法态蒸馏仍常被视为一种代价高昂、主导容错量子计算机资源开销的过程。本文旨在表明事实并非如此。通过将蒸馏电路写成一种将具备错误检测能力的量子比特与不具备该能力的量子比特分离的形式,大多数用于蒸馏的逻辑量子比特可用非常低的码距进行编码。这显著降低了蒸馏的时空开销以及量子比特数量。在极端情况下,蒸馏一个魔法态的成本可低于在全码距逻辑量子比特上执行一个逻辑Clifford门。
