摘要
监测由引力波激发的弹性体振动本征模式,是最早提出的引力波探测概念之一。在实验室尺度上,这些实验被称为共振棒探测器,由 Joseph Weber 于 1960 年代首次研制。由于这些棒的尺寸,其目标信号频率在 kHz 范围。Weber 还指出,监测地球或月球的振动可揭示 mHz 频带的引力波。由阿波罗 17 号乘组部署在月球上的月球表面重力仪实验发生了技术故障,导致数据无用。在本文中,我们重新审视该想法并提出月球引力波天线(LGWA)。我们发现,LGWA 可成为与天基激光干涉探测器 LISA 联合观测的重要伙伴观测台,同时因其独特特性而贡献独立科学目标。该实验的部署需克服技术挑战,而惯性振动传感器技术的发展为此令人兴奋的探测器概念铺就了未来路径。
