LP 400-22：一颗极低质量且高速的白矮星

摘要
我们报告了LP 400-22 (WD 2234+222)被识别为极低质量和高速白矮星的事实。紫外 GALEX 和光学光度颜色以及LP 400-22的光谱线分析显示，该星的有效温度为11080+/-140 K，表面引力为log g = 6.32+/-0.08。因此，这是一颗0.17太阳质量的氦核白矮星。该白矮星的切向速度为414+/-43 km/s，这使其成为已知最快移动的白矮星之一。我们讨论了这一非凡天体的可能演化情景。
