VERITAS 对 B2 1215+30 的长期观测

摘要

我们报告了 VERITAS 在 2008 年至 2012 年间对 BL Lac 天体 B2 1215+30 的观测结果。在此期间,VERITAS 以 8.9σ8.9\sigma 的显著性探测到该源在甚高能 (VHE; E > 100 GeV) 波段的辐射,并显示出大于月时间尺度的明显变异性。2011 年,该源处于相对明亮状态,对其微分光子能谱进行幂律拟合得到的谱指数为 3.6±0.4stat±0.3syst3.6 \pm 0.4_{\mathrm{stat}} \pm 0.3_{\mathrm{syst}},高于 200 GeV 的积分通量为 (8.0±0.9stat±3.2syst)×1012cm2s1(8.0 \pm 0.9_{\mathrm{stat}} \pm 3.2_{\mathrm{syst}}) \times 10^{-12}\, \mathrm{cm}^{-2} \mathrm{s}^{-1}。在 2011 年的明亮状态下未探测到短期变异性。2011 年与 VERITAS 观测同时获取了多波段数据,涵盖光学 (Super-LOTIS, MDM, Swift-UVOT)、X 射线 (Swift-XRT) 和伽马射线 (Fermi-LAT) 频段。这些数据被用于构建 B2 1215+30 的谱能量分布 (SED)。我们使用单区轻子模型对耀变体辐射进行建模,并将结果与 MAGIC 在 2011 年初的结果以及其他 VERITAS 探测到的耀变体进行了比较。该 SED 可以通过 VHE 探测到的 BL Lac 天体的典型模型参数得到很好的重现。
