PrRu$_4$P$_{12}$ 中局部畸变诱发的金属-绝缘体相变

摘要
对 PrRuP 和 PrOsP 进行了扩展 X 射线吸收精细结构（EXAFS）实验，以研究 PrRuP 中的金属-绝缘体（MI）相变。从 EXAFS 数据中未观察到跨越 MI 相变温度的 Pr 位移。相反，我们的 EXAFS 数据清楚地表明 Ru 位移与此 MI 相变相关。Ru-P 键极高的 Debye 温度（=690 K）表明，相对刚性的 RuP 八面体的轻微旋转/位移导致了这一微小的 Ru 位移，该位移伴随着 PrRuP 在 62 K 处发生的 MI 相变。
