太阳锂耗尽:基于hydrodynamical模拟的混合研究

摘要

基于辐射hydrodynamics对星际对流层的建模,已制定出描述对流运动向radiative interior深入渗透(超越Sarzschild边界,overshoot)的扩散方案。该指数型扩散式overshoot方案已成功应用于 AGB 星。本文将其应用于太阳,以确定该额外混合的时间尺度和深度范围,即对流包层基部的diffusive overshoot。我们计算了在向及主序星演化期间锂的消耗。我们发现,由diffusive overshoot引起的缓慢混合过程可能导致太阳主序演化期间锂的显著耗尽。
