用KamLAND实验限制天体物理反中微子

摘要

我们报告在8.3至30.8 MeV中微子能量范围内利用KamLAND探测器对来自天体物理源的电子反中微子(νˉe\bar{\nu}_e)的搜寻。在6.72 kton-year液体闪烁体的曝光量中,我们通过逆β衰变反应观测到18个候选事件。尽管来自中性流大气中微子相互作用的本底不确定性很大,我们发现相对于本底模型预测无显著超出。假设若干超新星遗迹中微子谱,我们在分析范围内给出60--110 cm2^{-2} s1^{-1}(90% CL)的上限通量,并给出一个与模型无关的通量。我们还设定了轻暗物质对湮灭为中子微子对的速率限制。这些数据改进了8^{8}B太阳中微子转化为νˉe\bar{\nu}_e的上限概率限制,Pνeνˉe<3.5×105P_{\nu_e \rightarrow \bar{\nu}_e} < 3.5\times10^{-5}(90% CL)(假设未畸变的νˉe\bar{\nu}_e形状)。这对应于分析能量范围内60 cm2^{-2} s1^{-1}(90% CL)的太阳νˉe\bar{\nu}_e通量。
