高能轻子对撞机上轻夸克的产生与鉴别

摘要
在、和碰撞中，由于光子的夸克含量，轻夸克可以在质量非常接近对撞机质心能量时以可观的数量产生，从而获得同样高的发现极限。利用对撞机中的极化不对称性，Buchmüller、Rückl和Wyler列出的十种不同类型的轻夸克可以在轻夸克质量基本达到运动学极限时相互区分。因此，如果发现轻夸克，对撞机可以在确定其起源方面发挥关键作用。
