KKH 22：IC 342 的首个矮椭球卫星星系

摘要
我们利用哈勃空间望远镜上的先进巡天相机对大质量旋涡星系 IC 342 附近的近邻矮椭球星系 KKH 22 = LEDA 2807114 进行了观测。我们采用红巨星支顶端（TRGB）方法推导出其距离为 3.12±0.19 Mpc。我们还利用 6 米 BTA 光谱仪测得 KKH 22 中球状星系的日心径向速度为 +30±10 km/s。该矮椭球星系 KKH 22 的 V 波段绝对星等为 -12.19 mag，中心面亮度 μ_v,0 = 24.1 mag/平方角秒。KKH 22 的速度和距离均与该矮椭球星系受 IC 342 引力束缚相一致。另一近邻矮不规则星系 KKH 34 的日心速度较低，为 +106 km/s，其 TRGB 距离为 7.28±0.36 Mpc，位于 IC 342 星系群背景处。KKH 34 具有惊人地高的负本动速度 -236±26 km/s。
