开普勒对凌星致密热天体的观测

摘要

开普勒测光揭示了两个不寻常的凌星伴星,分别围绕一颗早期A型星和一颗晚期B型星运行。在这两种情况下,伴星的掩星深度都大于凌星。掩星和凌星以及后续的光学光谱揭示了一颗9400 K的早期A型星KOI-74(KIC 6889235),其伴星轨道周期为5.2天,半径为0.08 Rsun;以及一颗10000 K的晚期B型星KOI-81(KIC 8823868),其伴星轨道周期为24天,半径为0.2 Rsun。我们推断KOI-74b的温度为12250 K,KOI-81b的温度为13500 K。我们展示了43天的高占空比、30分钟采样间隔的测光数据,并利用模型演示了这些天体有趣的性质,同时推测了它们的本质。
