摘要
KamLAND-PICO项目旨在利用NaI(Tl)闪烁体寻找WIMPs暗物质。为了研究截面小至 pb的WIMPs候选者,通过化学处理和环境控制开发了纯NaI(Tl)晶体。U和Th链的浓度分别降低至 ppt和 ppt。值得注意的是,难以降低的Pb浓度达到了 Bq/kg的高纯度。
