摘要

KamLAND-PICO项目旨在利用NaI(Tl)闪烁体寻找WIMPs暗物质。为了研究截面小至10910^{-9} pb的WIMPs候选者,通过化学处理和环境控制开发了纯NaI(Tl)晶体。U和Th链的浓度分别降低至5.4±0.95.4\pm0.9 ppt和3.3±2.23.3\pm2.2 ppt。值得注意的是,难以降低的210^{210}Pb浓度达到了58±2658\pm26 μ\muBq/kg的高纯度。
