Jahn-Teller 效应形成 d8 体系的非磁性基态

摘要
证明了在 Ni²⁺ 离子中出现的 d8 电子体系可以通过 Jahn-Teller 效应形成原子尺度上的非磁性基态。八面体位点的四轴/三轴非正交晶格扭曲导致 3A₂g 三重态分裂为一重基态与二重简并结构，其中该非磁性单态基能较低，前提是考虑了原子内自旋轨道耦合。
