IM Eridani 中的 IW And 型态

摘要

IW And 星是近来被确认的一类矮新星,其特征是反复出现从具有阻尼振荡的驻留相(standstill-like phase)增亮、随后出现深凹陷的序列。Kimura 等人(2019)最近提出了一种基于倾斜盘中热黏性盘不稳定的模型,以重现 IW And 型特征。IM Eri 在2018年经历了 IW And 型阶段,我们记录了由增亮终止的(阻尼)振荡相的三个周期。我们识别出 IW And 型态期间的两种周期:4–5天的小振幅(常阻尼)振荡与34–43天的长周期。该行为对 IW And 型星而言是典型特征。天体在长周期内逐渐增亮,直至下一次增亮终止(阻尼)振荡相。此观测与倾斜盘热黏性盘不稳定模型(Kimura 等人 2019)所预测的长周期内盘质量增加相符。然而,我们未能成功探测到被视为倾斜盘标志的负超驼峰(negative superhumps)。
