本立场论文考察语言的形成，并揭示英语词汇的结构属性与其多义性之间的联系。通过在大型同义词图上使用 Ollivier-Ricci 曲率来估计多义性，经验性地表明：那些 arguably 更易发音的词汇也往往具有多重含义。
