BATSE数据中是否存在Gamma射线暴重复爆发的证据？

经典Gamma射线暴(GRB)偶尔从相同天空位置重复爆发的可能性提供了GRB模型的关键测试。目前关于BATSE数据是否存在暴力重复爆发证据存在争议。我们引入一种Gamma射线暴“配对匹配”统计量，可用于在BATSE数据中搜索重复暴力信号。该配对匹配统计量基于每个暴力报告的位置误差，比以前使用的统计量在探测微弱重复暴力或多次暴力重复时更敏感；同时也不太可能因位置相关性导致(假性)暴力重复证据。我们发现，其他统计量中看到的“匹配”对和“反距离加配对”中显著偏离，主要是由于分离小于其误差栏所表示的配对数量过多。当我们考虑所有与误差栏一致的分离时，未发现显著信号。我们得出结论，公开可用的数据集BATSE 1B和2B中不包含重复Gamma射线暴爆发的证据。
