摘要
作为中间帕洛马瞬变源工厂两个月扩展的一部分，我们进行了一项宽视场（2000 deg）g 与 I 波段实验。我们发现了 36 个河外瞬变源，包括 iPTF17lf（一个高度红化的本地 Ia 型超新星）、iPTF17bkj（稀有的 Ibn/IIn 过渡型超新星的新成员）以及 iPTF17be（一个候选亮蓝变星爆发）。我们未探测到任何亮红新星，并给出了其率的上限。我们表明，在即将到来的如 Zwicky 瞬变源设施的巡天中加入慢节奏 I 波段成分将改善冷且尘埃遮蔽瞬变源的光度选择。
