我们介绍 BAX（Base de Donnees Amas de Galaxies X，http://webast.ast.obs-mip.fr/bax），这是一个专为 X 射线星系团和星系群设计的多波段数据库，旨在支持详细的信息检索。BAX 通过提供已发表测量的主要物理量值及其相关文献引用，来支持天文学研究：数据库中存储的基本数据包括星系团/星系群标识符、赤道坐标、红移、通量、X 射线亮度（以 ROSAT 波段计）以及温度，并链接到额外的可链接参数（包括 X 射线中的空间轮廓参数、热气体的 SZ 参数、引力透镜测量结果，以及来自其他波段的数据，如光学和射电）。用户可按基本参数、关联参数或两者的组合进行查询。我们预计 BAX 将成为天文学界的重要工具。BAX 将优化从天文台设施（如 CFHT 的 MEGACAM、VLT 的 VIRMOS）到太空任务（如 XMM-Newton、Chandra 和 Planck）的科学分析中的各个环节，从方案规划到数据收集、解释与发表。
