本征对齐作为DESI巡天中的红移空间畸变污染

摘要

我们测量了来自Legacy Imaging Survey的亮红星系(LRGs)主轴对潮汐的对齐,并用以推断在暗能量光谱仪(DESI)巡天中由依赖于取向的面亮度选择所产生的人为红移空间畸变信号。利用测光红移来压低由弱引力透镜引起的形状-密度关联,我们测量了LRGs的本征潮汐对齐。另外,我们估计DESI光纤星等目标选择导致的LRG取向净极化沿视线方向约为10^-2量级。利用这些测量与线性潮汐模型,我们预测在40-80 Mpc/h投影间距上2点关联函数的四极矩将出现0.5%的分数减小。我们还使用来自Abacus Summit宇宙学模拟套件的晕目录来重现这一虚假四极矩。
