摘要
人们已认识到宇宙的膨胀在两个时期经历了加速:在其极早期的暴胀时期,以及更近的 时期(彼时假想由暗能量驱动宇宙加速)。这两个时期背后尚未发现的机制代表了基础物理学中一些最重要的开放问题。 处的巨大宇宙学体积,连同利用已知技术高效瞄准高- 星系的能力,使得在暴胀与暗能量的研究中可获得巨大收益。未来的光谱巡天可将初始条件的高斯性检验较当前界限提升约50倍,跨越 为量级1这一区分单场与多场模型的关键理论阈值。同时,它能在百分水平测量直至 的暗能量占比,从而作为对标准模型前所未有的检验,并开辟巨大的发现空间。
