CLAS12 实验测量氢目标上中子共振区的包容性电子散射

摘要

我们使用来自 Jefferson 实验室CLAS12 探测器收集的数据,测量了能量为 10.6 GeV 的电子束作用于氢目标的包容性电子散射横截面。这些来自 CLAS12 的首个绝对横截面覆盖了不变质量 W 从π阈值至2.5 GeV 的广泛 kinematic 区域,其虚拟光子四动量转移平方 Q2Q^2 从2.55 到10.4~GeV2^2 之间的所有 bin。由于CLAS12 探测器的大倾斜角接受度,这些横截面覆盖了广泛的 W 范围。将横截面与来自CLAS实验得到的核共振电子激发振幅计算得到的共振贡献进行比较,表明有前景将其 Q2Q^2 演化信息扩展至10 GeV2^2。这些来自CLAS和CLAS12的结果为在 W < 2.5 GeV 时探测核部件分布在大比例部件动量 xx 的范围提供了良好的前景,同时涵盖了从强耦合向扰动范式过渡的距离范围。
