来自$\gamma + Nb \to \pi^{0}\gamma + X$反应的介质中$\omega$质量

重新分析了在原子核上光产生ω\omega介子的数据,以寻找介质中的修正。这些数据是在波恩ELSA加速器设施上用Crystal Barrel(CB)/TAPS探测器系统获取的。该数据集分析的首批结果由D. Trnka等人发表在Phys. Rev. Lett 94 (2005) 192303 \cite{david}上,声称在正常核物质密度下,核介质中ω\omega质量降低了14%。发现提取的ω\omega线形对本底扣除敏感。因此,启动了同一数据集的重新分析,并开发了一种新方法,以直接从数据中减少本底并确定本底的形状和绝对大小。描述了重新分析和本底确定的细节。重新分析中提取的NbNb靶上的ω\omega信号,与作为参考测量的LH2LH_2靶上的相应线形相比,没有显示出偏差。因此,早先关于介质中质量偏移的声称未被证实。讨论了ω\omega线形对不同介质中修正方案的敏感性。
