SS433 等向外流的图像

摘要
我们以 6cm 波段使用同时 VLBA、MERLIN 和 VLA 实现 unprecedented Fourier 平面覆盖，对 X 射线二元天体 SS433 进行成像。我们也在 20cm 波段使用 VLBA。两个波段上我们都可靠检测到 smooth、低表面亮度辐射，呈现类似于“披毛”或领口的外观，垂直连接于该系统中已广受关注的 knotty 喷流，延伸至至少数百 AU。我们将这种平滑辐射解释为二元天体的风状外流，并讨论其对该系统当前进化阶段的意义。
