在亚天文单位尺度上分辨出的微类星体SS433吸积-喷流形态

摘要

我们展示了利用VLT干涉仪上的GRAVITY仪器对微类星体SS 433进行的首次亚毫角秒(mas)尺度光学观测。3.5小时曝光揭示了一个丰富的K波段光谱,以氢 Brγ \gamma\ 和 \ion{He}{i} 线为主,以及来自喷流的(红移)发射线。K波段连续辐射区由一个勉强分辨的点源(<11 mas)主导,该点源嵌入在一个漫射背景中,背景占总流量的10\%。喷流线位置与喷流运动学模型预期的位置吻合良好,这一解释也得到谱线中观测到的相位移动的一致符号(即远离/接近喷流分量分别为负/正)的支持。跨越喷流线的显著可见度下降,以及所有基线小而几乎相同的相位,指向一个与连续源偏移小于0.5 mas、并在传播方向上可分辨、典型大小为2 mas的喷流。喷流位置角 \sim80^{\circ} 与观测日期的预期值一致。如此接近中心双星系统的喷流发射表明,若线锁定(line locking)与解释0.26c喷流速度的大小和稳定性相关,则其作用于比氢更重的元素。Brγ \gamma\ 轮廓宽且双峰。它比连续谱分辨更好,且所有基线上跨越谱线的相位信号符号变化暗示了一个东西向的几何结构,类似于喷流方向,并支持(极区)盘风起源。
