近期研究表明，标准 Nambu-Jona-Lasinio (NJL) 模型无法在大密度下重现间隙方程正确的 QCD 行为，因此有人提出了针对大动量的不同截断方案。我们发现，即使采用这种依赖于密度的截断程序，中子星 (NS) 内部的纯夸克相也是不稳定的，我们认为这可能与原始 NJL 模型中缺乏禁闭有关。
