本短札记录了 Google Scholar 某些个人资料中出现的一种异常情况，其暗示存在“超新星”式论文，即那些在单年内的影响（以引用次数计）较前一年高出（几乎）一个数量级，而在下一年立即骤降至极低水平并（保持平稳）的论文。我们分析了该问题并给出解答，阐明是否存在超新星式论文。
