HST/STIS低色散光谱学对三个致密陡谱源的研究：喷流-云相互作用的证据

我们展示了哈勃空间望远镜成像光谱仪对致密陡谱射电源3C 67、3C 277.1和3C 303.1的发射线星云的缝长光谱学。我们为这些星云推导了BPT（Baldwin-Philips-Terlevich；Baldwin et al. 1981）诊断发射线比，这些比值与激波激发和扩展气体中光致电离的混合一致。此外，发现与较高气体速度相关的低电离气体线比。结果与这些星系尺度射电源与宿主星系星际介质中的致密云相互作用、激波使云电离并加速它们的图像一致。
