最近在弹性散射中对反冲极化的测量已被用于提取质子的电形状因子与磁形状因子之比。这些结果与从截面测量得到的Rosenbluth提取结果不一致，表明要么两种技术之间存在矛盾，要么极化转移或截面测量存在问题。为了获得质子形状因子的精确知识，我们必须首先理解这种差异的来源。
