基于双焦方案的 Petawatt激光焦点热循环优化

摘要

实现高功率激光脉冲的衍射极限聚焦,以生成超高强度,对开发紧凑型激光驱动粒子加速器和探索强场量子电动力学至关重要。然而,对Petawatt(PW)激光脉冲焦点进行精准诊断和优化仍是一个重大挑战。本文提出了一种实验方法,利用双焦方案精确表征PW亚秒激光脉冲的强度分布和波前,并阐明其功率依赖的演化。进一步,通过本文提出的原位波前校正方法(称为HotLoop)优化了满功率下的焦点,实现了1 PW激光脉冲的0.80的Strehl比。因此,激光质子加速实验中的截止质子能 significantly 提升。该方法的成功强调了在超高强度激光-物质相互作用中进行原位高能波前校正的必要性。
