我们报告发现 27 个红移范围在 3.58 到 4.49 之间的类星体。这些天体基于其在 Sloan 数字天文台勘测数据中的颜色识别为高红移候选对象。通过在 Hobby-Eberly 望远镜获得的低分辨率光谱确认了红移值。这些类星体的 i^* magnitudes 范围从 18.55 到 20.97。近 60% 的类星体候选对象经过光谱观测确认为类星体。其中两个天体是宽吸收线类星体，其他几个类星体似乎具有窄的相关吸收特征。
