5 GeV 能区康普顿散射的高精度测量

核实验 2019-10-29 v5 高能物理 - 唯象学 核理论

摘要

原子电子康普顿散射 γ+eγ+e\gamma + e \rightarrow \gamma^\prime + e^\prime 的截面在 4.40--5.475 GeV 光子束能量区由 Jefferson Lab 的 {\em PrimEx} 合作组以 2% 及更高的精度测得。结果与包含次领头阶辐射修正的理论预言一致。这些测量提供了对该基本 QED 过程在束流能量大于 0.1 GeV 时的首次高精度检验。
