摘要
我们通过存在于卡鲁扎-克莱因时空中的五维压扁卡鲁扎-克莱因黑洞来探索额外维度的可观测性。基于霍金辐射反映压扁视界的五维性质的预期,我们研究了压扁黑洞背景中标量场的霍金辐射。结果表明,霍金辐射的光度告诉我们额外维度的大小,即压扁卡鲁扎-克莱因黑洞为额外维度打开了一扇窗口。
