HAWC J2227+610及其与G106.3+2.7的关联:一个新的潜在银河系PeVatron

我们展示了利用HAWC观测站对HAWC J2227+610在100 TeV以上甚高能伽马射线辐射的探测。结合VERITAS先前发表的结果,我们将HAWC J2227+610的伽马射线辐射解释为质子的辐射,其截断能量的下限为800 TeV。质子最可能的源是相关的超新星遗迹G106.3+2.7,这使其成为一个银河系PeVatron的候选体。然而,目前不能完全排除所观测辐射纯粹轻子起源的可能性。
